I am enough. I give my kids all of my love and I trust the Lord to make sure that is enough for them. I make enough money to support myself and my loved ones. I don't have to be more than I am today and every day I'm becoming a better me.
I've been surprised discovering in the last few years at how much love I have to give. I'm willing to give everything to someone who's going to do the same for me.
People tell me I'm caring and attentive. Initially I come across as quiet and reserved, but as you get to know me, you discover that I'm passionate and thoughtful about the things that matter to me. I love to listen and to talk. I'm affectionate and romantic. I'm a very supportive friend.
I'm quite handy around the house. I was raised doing yard work, and I love making my home a place of beauty. I've replaced light fixtures, light switches, sprinkler systems, a garbage disposal, a kitchen faucet, a built-in dishwasher, two toilets, and a roof. And I've taken apart a washing machine and put it back together again successfully.
Am I bragging? Yes. Yes, I am.
The gospel is the foundation of who I am. There was a time that I tried to run away from the church. It was the most miserable and dark period of my life. It was actually dating that brought me back to the church, and I've never been happier. I'm so grateful for the atonement. I would be completely lost without it. It's taught me how to love myself and better love my family. My favorite conference talk right now is President's Eyring's talk on "Mountains to Climb". I'm really trying to live each day with integrity. I'm only planning on being married in the temple. Hope that's your goal too!
I love spending time with my kids and my family. They are truly my best friends. I enjoy playing games (the card and board type not the emotional chain yanking type) and making theatre. At my house, table talk and teasing are signs of affection. I enjoy creating bonsai trees, though I have a harder time keeping them alive. I love making beautiful things whether it's art or trees or my home. I have always dreamed about learning how to fly an airplane.
I think that is enough for now.
