I’m tall. 5 feet 9 and three-quarter inches in my stocking feet. Not quite Cindy Crawford tall, but close. *Grin* I am teased because I know the measurement so precisely, but when you’re asked, “How tall ARE you?” as often as I am, precision becomes habit.
The most important thing in my world is my family. We’re small and close-knit and get on each other’s nerves more often than not, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m choosy about who I spend time "font-weight:bold;")with, but I have lots of friends and enjoy hanging out talking all night, or cozying up for a movie marathon, or taking road trips with the music blaring.
I love to read. I devour books, all kinds. Movies, too, and music – whatever suites my mood at any given moment. It’s hard to narrow down what my favorites are but I have them.
I love history, especially ancient history; the story of it, the humanness and psychology of it. The way language has changed and evolved, the way the stories and myths and legends stay fundamentally the same across cultures and civilizations. I love walking where people have walked for thousands of years and the feeling of connectedness it gives me.
I enjoy creating things – stories, art, sweaters – one day I will get brave and knit a pair of socks.
I love to sing and I can hold a tune (most of the time), but not much else. Doesn’t stop me from belting out the songs on the radio or my iPod, though. Most of those songs could use more notes anyway… : )
I can’t tell jokes (usually because I’m too busy laughing at the punch line), but I love to laugh and be silly. I don’t think you’re ever too old for silly.
