I work in higher education and love it. Currently, I am working on finishing up my Master's degree in English. It has taken me quite a while to finish, but I am close now.

I am a convert to the church about 10 years ago. I love to read, love living in Idaho for the mountains, but I also love traveling around to other places.

I am not the type of person who has a lot of friends around them all the time; I have few who are close and that I've known for a long time and I consider them family. I try to surround myself with people who know the real me and love me for who I am, but also they make me want to be a better person.

My favorite quote about life is my Thomas Carlyle: What we become depends on what we read after all the professors have finished with us. The greatest university of all is a collection of books.
