If you’re looking for someone to control, who is in need of being rescued or is needy, I’m not for you. I’m intelligent, level-headed, highly motivated and service oriented. I’ve always been very independent which poses a problem for some. I believe I can accomplish anything I set my mind to and don’t believe there are any obstacles that cannot be overcome. I don’t care who you are we all encounter trials in this life, some larger than others, but what’s important is how you deal with them and what is learned from it. You can be mad or upset when something happens but what does that accomplish. Rather we should look for the positive, as it could always be worse, and be grateful for the opportunity to grow in some manner. YOU choose whether to let them make you or break you!

I have two amazing children that are my life and always bring a smile to my face. As the years progress, I’ve enjoyed all the different stages throughout their lives. But I must admit I miss the young years when they are so new and innocent and have so much excitement as they encounter new things. No matter what our age, we never stop learning but it’s not the same.

I was a convert to the Church when I was 16 and was the only member of my family to investigate & join. I am so grateful for the missionaries, so long ago, that changed not only my life but the lives of my posterity by introducing me to the gospel. While my ex was not a member, there was never a question as to whether or not children would be raised in the church. It was not an option. I’m so thankful for the opportunity they had to grow up in the church so they knew exactly who they were and their true worth, from the very beginning. The Church is extremely important to me and plays a very important role in my life and that of my children. I know the individual I have become stems from having the gospel in my life and the example of those around me at the influential age of 16. I have held many various callings over the years from primary, YW presidency, RS presidency, etc.

Some of my interests include traveling, although I don’t get to do it as often as I’d like, I love the outdoors/nature (hiking, camping, etc) and like to venture off the beaten path to see what I can find. I’m always up for new adventure or trying new things. I enjoy being around positive people and those with a zeal for life. I get along best with those who have some of the same traits/qualities I possess. I’m honest about who I am, there’s no reason to lie and I don’t understand those who portray themselves to be something other than what they are. If you’re going into a friendship/relationship under false pretense, what is it exactly you’re hoping to gain?
