Sooo, are you ready for the real deal, a good to go friend with potential who is easy on your eye, your nerves, and your wallet?
Now that you've seen my picture, picture this or something similar: coming home to a lady who has a home-cooked meal ready for you, or well-under way so that we can finish it up together. I'll try to do something every day to delight you and bring that smile all the way to your eyes.
Come home a little early and you may catch me with my waist-length, dark curly hair tied back out of the way. If it's a weeknight, we might read together, watch a documentary about anything, make some jerky, take a walk around the neighborhood and say hi to folks we meet, or learn something new from each other. If it's a Friday night, I'll doll up and we'll go out for the evening. Doesn't matter what we do...museums, rodeo, dancing, go-karts, IMAX, driving around, live theater, a play at the college, an evening at home...it's all good. Saturday we might spend the cool of the morning doing yard and garden work, then run a few errands, then enjoy our day off. Or maybe we'll start the day at the Temple.
Holiday weekends are great for road trips, tent/RV or cabin camping, target shooting, fishing, and stuff we haven't done together yet. I'm eager to try new things.
If you watch wrestling, football and other televised sports, I will probably use the time to go for a walk, run errands, shop for groceries, get a basic pedicure, have my hair trimmed, things like that. Or I might curl up next to you with an MP3 player and a good book. Televised sports is an area I really truly don't like, but will enjoy or learn to enjoy about anything else.
Sundays we'll be up and about early enough to whip up a full breakfast of your favorites, all from scratch. You'll wonder why people still go to restaurants for Sunday breakfast because nobody in town can touch my biscuits or pancakes. You'll even get hot pancake syrup. After we get home from church, we'll have the lunch waiting for us that we put together Saturday night. It could be burgers and all the fixings, sandwich makings, a salad with lots of goodies, a crock pot batch of soup, chili, whatever we are in the mood for. You're probably someone's Home Teacher so you might need a couple of hours to catch people at home. Later on we might grab two spoons and share a bowl of ice cream topped with fruit.
BACKGROUND STUFF FOR KICKING OFF CONVERSATION:
White kid born in a park..the Navajo Nation Tribal Park. Not really in the park, but at a reservation hospital in the picturesque Monument Valley, Utah.

Single again...well, like most any other single again, I've discovered that others use their free agency in secretive, painful, destructive ways. Keeping my covenants didn't prevent divorce, but has given me the strength to endure the situation.

TESTIMONIALS:
"Quiet and really smart."--high school classmate
"My mother is the best mom for a variety of reasons. First my mom is an excellent cook. I especially like her sphaghetti because the sauce is so delicious I can't wait to shove it down my throat. My mom's biscuits and gravy are to die for. Next, my mom is so smart she could be a scientist. She always is on the scene when my computer gets messed up--she always fixes it. Finally, she's always careful when handling something fragile. She never breaks anything and is protective of the family. All in all my mom is the best mom."--son
"Woof!"--Pachuco, our Chihuahua when asked if he wants to go for a walk.
"I knew you'd know where to get powdered eggs."--Relief Society sister.
"Read it again!"--preschoolers at story time.
"This lady is a survivor."--ER nurse who couldn't find my blood pressure or pulse and nearly fainted when I mumbled to try again because I wasn't dead yet.

YES, YOU SHOULD CONTACT ME!
WILL consider a faithful brother who is up to five years younger or up to about 15 years older than I am. We should all be adults by this age. The main thing is that we can keep up with one another.
KEYS TO MY HEART: I am just as or maybe even more attracted to personality and voice as physical qualities. Personality should be improving over the years, while our bodies age and wind down. It's the Lord's way of reassuring us He won't leave us stranded here away from Him forever. In the long run, and I mean really really long run, our resurrected bodies will look a lot like when we were in our prime years. Show me your best photos of when you were younger...that's what you will ALWAYS look like to me :-) Also, for some reason, certain vocal qualities absolutely captivate me. It might be how you sing to me (on or off key), or a gentle manliness to your everyday speaking. Your laughter, the light of your testimony, it's hard to say what will open my heart to yours. If you have children and maybe even grandchildren, and I grow to love you, I will love them too.
