Bonjour,
I'm French Canadian, and would like to say a little about me. I have lived in Montreal for 3 years and in the area for quite a while. In fact, I was born in Montreal but we moved to Quebec City when I was 13. I joined the Church when I was 38. When I turned 50, I served a mission in Georgia USA for a year and a half.
I had been working as a school psychologist 20 years before my mission, but when I returned, I decided to go back to school and to get a doctoral degree in neuropsychology. I was very interested in understanding how the brain works, and to help children and parents dealing with developmental impairments.
One of my other goals is to go to another country to assist people who have psychological needs. I went to Haiti last April and had the chance to meet and help amputated “ rescapés ” from the earthquake.
I don’t have any children but I am surrounded by them and love them. They also love me.
I’m presently the Relief Society President of a little branch in the East side of Montreal. It’s good for me to have this responsibility for the Lord knows that I need to be active.
I love my job in a rehab facility helping adults who have suffered a brain injury.
I look forward to having the opportunity to share my life, to mutually appreciate and enjoy the company of another. I'm flexible and willing to live in another country. I’m very curious to meet new people and have new experiences.
