Doing this whole thing makes me feel like I am in a job interview. I guess in a way I am. So, I am the best person for you! That usually gets me a job, but I am not sure that alone can get me a date! I am a normal person, although normal is a relative term so we’ll just say I don’t have any skeletons in my closet or weird obsessions or habits!
I work at a local middle school in the Special Education program. I can’t be all that bad if they entrust me with the care of middle-schoolers! I enjoy working with the kids, but will admit that some days I am completely stressed out and at the end of the day I just really want to chill out and relax. When I am really stressed out one can find me rearranging my furniture and cleaning. (I think that might be a weird obsession or habit to some.)
I am a family oriented person and love to spend time with them. Along with spending time with my family and friends, I also love to read, watch movies and bake, but only when there are others around to eat it for me. I have a warped sense of humor but can be serious when I need to be.
Although I enjoy spending time outdoors, I am the first to admit that I am not what people would call an ‘outdoors person’. I enjoy the simple things in life, but do like to go out to dinner occasionally. What I like to do really depends on my mood and the weather.
Overall, I just want someone that I can talk to about life that shares my values and wants the same things out of life as I do. I also would like someone who will treat me the way I deserve to be treated and will respect me and love me for who I am and not who they want me to be. In turn, I will do the same. It is important to me that I am in a relationship with someone who is okay with being equals and sharing in the responsibilities of life. It is also important to me that people are honest with me and in a relationship I would like to be part of their whole life, not just on the outside of it. I only ask of others what I ask of myself.
