From reading several other profiles I feel that I need to explain more about myself to ease your minds about me.

I was married for 15 years before my wife passed away unexpectedly. I treated her like the queen she is. I believe very much in families and there importance, my family brings great joy into my life and I would like to share that joy.

I love the outdoors, spending time with my two sons Phil Jr (11) and Hunter (9). Now it is just Phil Jr. and I, Hunter passed away on 1-1-13 from a long fight with Leukemia. It has been a very hard time for me, but as the Lord put it; this is all to make me a better person.

In the summer I enjoy watching and umpiring baseball. I like to hunt and fish, go camping, go on picnic and just be in the outdoors. I like to do wood work, carpentry and work with my hands. I am mechanically inclined and I'm not afraid to try and repair anything before I have to buy something new. I am very patient and I believe I have a masters degree in the school of hard knocks. All the trials I have been through in life have made me a stronger person, not only in worldly things but spiritually as well. I honor my priesthood and take great joy in using that authority in my family.

I am easy to get along with and I like to have fun. I am a very honest person, I share my beliefs and feelings and I believe in the Gospel and its message very strongly. I enjoy good conversations and believe good communication is a vital key to having honest and open relationships. I believe in giving 100% of my devotion, support and love to the person that is willing to stand by my side. I am not a game player, I am looking for someone that is willing to make the same commitment I have, to enjoy life to its fullest and bring happiness to the family. My sons wanted me to join this site in a effort to fulfill our family again and enjoy our remaining days, months and years with someone willing to embrace life as we have. I am a direct person and don't beat around the bush, I am a go getter. I have a sense of humor and love to laugh, play games and be around family.

I have a career based job and it takes very good care of me and my family, I am willing to discuss what I do for a living with you if interested.
