I chose slender body type, and you look at the picture and you're like yeah, right. I believe in positive thinking. It has served me well. I'm working toward that and meeting with success. I choose to mark where I'm headed not where I temporarily am. I've made progress toward my goal and will continue to do so. That said, on to more important things...
I'm adventurous and am looking for the same. I'll try anything once (within the bounds of morality and righteousness). I love to go places and experience new things. At the same time, being grounded and having the Gospel and my family in my life are very important to me. The Gospel keeps me grounded. I'm easygoing and easy to talk to.
I'm a photographer and teach at the local technical school. I do love it. I find it rewarding when I see the light go on when my students get it.
The church is central to my life and I'm active. I hold a current temple recommend and attend the temple as often as I can. I'm only interested in men who do the same. It doesn't matter what calling a person holds, only that they serve.
I am of course looking for a temple marriage, that's my ultimate goal. That said, I believe in starting with friendship, so I'm on here looking for friends. If you say hi, I'm going to take it at face value, it's a hi. Maybe something will come of it, maybe not. I'm not too concerned about it.
I have a daughter who is serving a mission and I'm pleased with her. It's amazing how Heavenly Father has worked in our lives to bring this to pass.
I serve as a teacher in Relief Society for as well as the Ward Music Director. Somehow, one of my gifts is rhythm and it has served me well. (I end up with a lot of music callings).
4-2-11 was my first time skydiving. I went with my daughter. Love it can't begin to explain how I feel about it. When I was at the edge of the plane getting ready to jump, I experienced what can only be described as abject terror. Once out of the plane, it was just my instructor, myself and the earth (I'm not sure where my daughter was, somewhere in the sky below me). I didn't realize it was possible to experience terror while not being afraid. I wasn't scared or nervous and I felt no fear, but when we were at the edge of the plane, I was absolutely gripped with terror. Once out of the plane, it was incredible. INCREDIBLE. I would love to share that with a special someone, however, if jumping out of a perfectly good airplane is not your cup of tea, I'm okay with that. My son-in-law watched my daughter and I from the ground. As long as you could enjoy that I enjoy it, that would be enough.
I love travel. Whether stateside or abroad, I want to experience every aspect, including, the culture and cuisine.
I have a cat, Fyodor, and am teaching him to use the toilet. And yes, you can teach a cat to use the toilet, and he does.
