I recently moved to the lush West Coast, where I work in advertising.
I lived a pretty normal LDS life in Centerville, Utah until age 13 when my family moved to Buenos Aires. Since then I came back to the US, went on a mission, got a couple degrees, and started building my career.
Having a life full of laughter and music is very important to me. My style of humor is very dry with lots of wordplay. Like when a guy's job on a tv show is "chicken noodle soup vending machine repairman". Sometimes I write shopping lists in homonyms without realizing it.
I did improv at ComedySportz until last year, and lately I've been getting back into singing and playing guitar. One of my favorite traditions is going to the Utah Shakespearean Festival. I enjoy 19th Century music and literature and exploring the outdoors.
I write commercials and advertising headlines for work. It's great being in a career where I can use both sides of my brain.
A few years ago, my whole grad school (well, the men) grew beards to raise money for cancer. It looked nice, so like a good dog it stayed. It's usually a bit longer than in it was in these pictures, but I have no problem with shaving.
