I have six wonderful children! The four oldest are boys, the two youngest are girls. The girls are 19 and 17 - the boys are out of the nest- and are married to wonderful girls. (Just one cute little grandson so far...) I have a large circle of friends- many that are concerned that I find someone to share my dreams and aspirations with. I have many interests and hobbys. I love and enjoy life! I love people! I love to serve in any capacity that I can. I like mountain biking and riding the 4 wheelers in the nearby mountains. I enjoy a backyard bbq with neighbors and friends. I like camping- and love the conversation that is stimulated by a crackling fire when deep in the woods! I love spending a quiet evening at home with close friends and family. Some of my hobbies are: gardening, working in the orchard, reading a good book, visiting a friend and lending a helping hand, going to a cultural or sporting event. Eating out at a restaurant that I've never been to before... I like to try and experience things that I haven't yet done. I had the opportunity of managing the Church Farm in Nauvoo. I also helped with the work and completion of the Women's Monument at the visitors center there as Pres. Kimball came to dedicate it, and to organize the stake in Nauvoo. That was the 1000th stake in the Church at the time incidentally. In addition to serving a mission as a young man in Missouri, I was also able to later serve a 1 1/2 year mission at Adam-ondi-ahman. What a sacred experience! I love people, I love the Lord and his church. I have learned much about the Savior's atonement and what it means to me personally, and am so grateful for his sacrifice! I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel. It is a most prized possession!! Didn't come to me easily however. I had to go through the refiners fire so to speak. But, it makes it all the more precious to me now. Thanks for checking out my profile! I'm looking forward to meeting you!
