Don't you think it's hard to describe yourself without sounding either too arrogant or too insecure? And while I like a good conversation, I find it hard to talk about myself. But I can tell you that I'm an interesting, confident person, who loves to laugh, and loves to be with friends and family. I'm very close to my parents and siblings. I love kids, and love my neices and nephews. I love to travel, and have seen more than a handful of countries on several continents. I speak Mandarin Chinese, thanks to a mission to Taiwan. I like to cook, and tune in to the cooking channel when I get the chance (but I must say I specialize in Asian foods). I have a little garden. I work hard, and work as a librarian (which is actually very interesting!). I love trying new things, and I'm very adventurous. Want me to try a new food? I will! Want me to try riding a zipline? I will! I pride myself on having lots of friends from lots of different backgrounds/countries, being open-minded, educated, and easy to talk to. Church is really important to me, and I look for friends who find it important as well. I'm down to earth, but I'm girlie, I'm sophisticated but homey, I'm opera but basketball on a Saturday night.
