I'm pretty shy at first, but once you get to know me I'm a lot of fun to be around. I love to have fun and can be sarcastic. I enjoy playing games and watching movies. I will try anything at least once. I love being outdoors and going on "adventures".
I am a currently teaching a class of 6th graders. This is my fourth year and I absolutely love it! Wasn't sure I would enjoy teaching them at first because they are kind of old and scary compared to the 2nd graders I did my student teaching with. We have a lot of fun in class. My students are constantly laughing at me and I at them (all in fun).
I decided to go back to school last summer and get my nail technicians license. I always enjoyed doing my own nails when I was a teenager and would spend hours on them. I figured it would be a great summer job to do and keep me productive and busy. Plus it doesn't hurt to have some extra money to pay off my student loans a lot quicker. My main goal is to get out of debt as soon as possible and then hopefully have play money and travel money. My students (including my boys) are always amazed at my nails and notice the moment I change them. My girls all dream of coming to my house after school and getting me to do their nails. I would love to do that for them, however I keep my relationship with them strictly teacher student. It also makes it easier to turn them down because I live 22 miles away from my school.
I just started a part time job on Saturdays at a salon and have already been quite successful. My new boss is very impressed with me and thinks I should quit teaching and do nails full time, but I love my students too much to ever think about that.
I love to go visit my parents in Blackfoot any chance I can get. I practically went to their house every weekend, but now that I've started working Saturdays its been more difficult to get away. I am looking forward to summer so I can see them more. I love spending time with my family and doing things together. That is one of my greatest joys in life and hope to be able to do that with a family of my own one day.
I love to gospel and I enjoy learning about the love Christ has for us all. I know that not everyone is perfect, I'm far from it, so I try not to judge mistakes. I know if Christ can forgive and forget then so can I.
