My relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church is everything to me. He has given me the opportunity to serve in many ward and stake callings and my love for Him continues to grow. At this time, I am the Relief Society President and have served as a Seminary teacher, Primary President and Sunday school teacher, etc. My church experience has helped me adopt the motto "First Observe and Then Serve".
I love to laugh and have fun. I am still “young at heart” and like to play and be adventurous. I like to try new and exciting activities and projects. For example, in the past six months I have driven an ATV, flown in an ultra-light airplane, taught water aerobics in Costa Rica and sung backup at Karaoke. I love to . . . cook, dance, read, hike at the reservoir, quilt, travel, and visit my children and play with my grandchildren. I would do my best to love, respect, and honor and spend time with your family and would expect the same from you.
My friends would describe me as spiritual, loyal, patient, dependable and tenderhearted. I am looking for that special person to be with as we live out our lives in a Christ-centered way bringing the light of the gospel to our relationship and to those around us . . . family, friends and strangers alike.
It is my belief that the "things of the Spirit" are more keenly developed and experienced in the family and in a loving relationship with a marriage partner walking through life and eternity together than in any other way. There is yet so much to do and experience in life that is beautifully enhanced when shared with someone you love and cherish and who feels the same way about you and the gospel. Because of this belief I am for submitting this profile.
I am open to the Lord and His plan for me and the person He brings into my life. I would like to stay in the Hartford area until the Hartford Temple is dedicated sometime in 2015 or 2016.
If you feel we are a good match, let me hear from you. As you can tell, a genuine desire to bless and help others and build the “Kingdom of God ” is a must.
