I'm a down-to-earth, good girl. Low-maintenance (I probably spend less money on makeup in a year than you do on groceries in a week), and kind. I'm usually exhausted, but noted for my high energy (go figure). Lots of living to do and never enough time!
I moved to Nevada to teach high school theatre and I love it! (...most of the time)
I choreograph like champ (from flash mobs to musicals). I make killer pizza. No seriously.
I love being outside in nature and talking. I love to run. I ran 26.2 miles once. I was tired.
Genuine conversation is heaven. I love hearing peoples' stories. I love to think about things deeply and exchange thoughts.
In my adulthood I have lived in Utah, England, Ireland, New Jersey, Washington, and Nevada. I love traveling, road trips, and adventures.
I play (VERY) beginner guitar, djembe drum, and am good at harmonizing. I love music--folk rock (ie: Joni Mitchell, Cat Stevens, Simon and Garfunkel) alternative rock, classical, world music. Some new stuff is wonderful--Fleet Foxes, The Shins.
(I maybe sometimes overuse parenthesis)
I am painfully extroverted.
I was voted best sense of humor my junior year, and messiest desk in 5th grade.
I make friends quickly and keep them for a long, long time.
Enough about me! Tell me about you. I'm definitely not looking for someone who's exactly like me. Similar interests--specifically hiking/backpacking, music, good food, etc. is ideal, but even then. I'd love it if you loved to travel and visit new places. I'd like it if you liked who you were, and enjoyed being alive.
I realize that most Mormon guys aren't looking for a wild-haired, strong-willed, expressive, independent mountain woman who smells like patchouli. And that's fine. To each his/her own But if you'd like to prove me wrong...
Let's hike!
