Hey there, my name is Jared. I'm the man of your dreams. Hmm, I take that back - I don't stalk your dreams, but I am still a man.

Well, I finally took a new profile photo. Don't worry, I don't usually stare at everything/everyone like that. I suppose I'm a bit of a goofball, so you might as well know that upfront.

A few things I'm passionate about:

-Doctor Who

-competitive bowling (I bowl often and love bowling in Leagues)

-disc golf

-Real Salt Lake soccer (I am a season ticket holder. I have to admit that I have two season ticket seats because I hate going alone.)

-photography (I do post photos on flickr...if you care to see, please feel free to ask)

-BYU sports

-delicious food (I love finding and trying new restaurants)

-Utah Jazz basketball

After listing the above activities and items, I have to mention that I'm pretty chill. I have my hobbies, but I don't always have to be out-and-about doing things. I enjoy watching TV, watching movies, reading, listening to music, gaming (computer and table-top), and relaxing in the company of others.

I believe that one should be themselves in all circumstances they are in. It bothers me when people put on a facade in front of others to try and impress. I also believe that being open and honest is imperative in relationships.

I work as a systems engineer for a software company. One of the best things about my job is that I get to work from home, and I love it...but it makes it somewhat more difficult to meet people.

Oh yeah, one more thing: Contrary to the seemingly negative connotation about "flirts", I actually do believe in using them - just as a way to initially figure out if somebody is interested in communicating. Although, every once in a while I will build up the guts to start with a "message". Feel free to send me either though, haha. :)
