Well I'm Doug, 25, born and raised in the western US, originally I come from San Diego, CA but in my teenage years moved to Las Vegas, NV where I stayed until graduating from high school. I'm pretty well traveled, seen most of the United States and around ten different countries. I love to travel and experience new cultures. Learning about how others in the world live and what they have makes me grateful to be an American. I wasn't raised with any religion, but with belief in God. Occasionally my family would go to non-denominational services mainly on holidays but as I grew into adulthood I identified mainly as agnostic. I don't want to be long-winded here but I found God through an experience overseas and prayed that I would find the right path to Him, and after meeting with a few missionaries in a chance encounter and going to many church services I just felt it, and I knew it was true. I was baptized in early 2012, and it changed my life.

Being close to God and family is important to me, as is living a righteous and morally sound life. I don't make life decisions based on what others do or what other people think, I just do what I feel is right, even though it may be inconvenient at times. I feel we were put here on earth to serve others, and that's a big part of my life. Service. I love the outdoors especially, but am into a lot of different things. There is so much I could write but instead of boring you with reading just message me if you want to know any specifics! I'm really nice and am a very open person. I'm funny to most people. I like to describe myself as different. I march to the beat of a different drum, I guess. I'm definitely not your average 25 year old guy, you just have to meet me. I'm all about knowledge. I'm constantly learning new things and just trying to be productive. I love having deep conversations and pondering things, and anyone who I can hold an intellectual conversation with is.....pretty awesome lol. I'm definitely not the smartest guy in the world but I'm constantly seeking self-improvement. Live everyday as if it were on purpose is my attitude. Tomorrow's not guaranteed, so attack today and make the best of life!

Very focused on the future and what my next moves are. I'm an excellent listener and most of my friends and friends of friends seek me for advice on life decisions and relationship problems/issues. I guess I'm just good at talking as I am at listening. I think communication in a relationship is one of the most important things to have. I'm very neutral and believe in compromise in a relationship. Laid back and I try to make things as easy on her as possible.
