Wahhoo! migrated to Oklahoma and my daughter's ranch last December. ...get to do the chores morning and nite, good exercise to keep fit. ...2 horses, sheep, chickens, rabbits, dogs, and a teenage daughter__trying to keep them fed and out of trouble. Spring lambing is early this year, so we are working on that.
This is a funny place; temps fluctuate between single digits and 50's. She has abt 13 acres but there is plenty of vacant land, mostly wooded surrounding her place. The coyotes and deer pay regular visits.
And the stars at nite are big and brite, and it isn't even Texas.
Well, the birds and I made the Spring migration back to the happy hunting ground, Zion, for at least the summer and Fall 2014.
.... alive and well. Searching for a candidate who is comfortable partnering with a man who wants to build the kingdom... family comes first. Nurturing the kids and grandkids into mature responsible adults is a good starting objective.
Some things I now think are important after 40 years and becoming single again, but what do I know? I was wrong the first time.
*actively maintaining good physical health for the rest of the journey,
*financial independence and freedom from debt,
*not still fighting past battles,
*finding fulfillment and purpose in filling in the missing parts of 2 becoming one, i.e. understanding and loving a complementary relationship,
*intelligence and education, research and critical thinking/analytical skills
*activity in the gospel/kingdom; a daily reader, regular temple,
*an attitude of stewardship, consecration, and sacrifice,
*dedication to achieving harmony of hearts thru common goals and shared work.
Some things that make a partner more interesting:
*experience and enjoyment using hand and power tools; home remodel
*finds fulfillment gardening
*enjoys life skills coaching/teaching
*love of nature and being out in it, some strenuous activity
