Caring, family oriented, inquisitive, passionate, compassionate, tolerant, open-minded and accepting of others. I can find something good in nearly everyone and I get along well with others, even those some people find difficult. Family is very important to me, and I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren. I am very curious and love to learn everything I can about nearly everything. I love to read. Music is a passion. I play flute in a community orchestra, and also teach flute. I love to dance and enjoy listening to a wide variety of musical genres. I am a nature-lover--another passion. I love the smell of summer rain, splashing in puddles, biking, hiking, and going for walks. I have BS degrees in biology and nursing with minors in chemistry and music--some of my major interests/passions. I enjoy being able to help others, which is what I enjoy most about my nursing job. One of my life goals is to do humanitarian medical work at home and abroad. I am looking for someone who lives nearby so that we can get together easily.
