Hi, my name is Cynthia
I graduated from BYU; majoring in Human Development, with a minor in Sociology. For the past year and a half, I have been working at Intermountain Healthcare in UT as a Child Development Instructor, but very recently I quit my job to move down here to AZ so I can begin my graduate studies at ASU. Although I prize education, experience has taught me that not everything you learn happens in a classroom. We are meant to explore the world and I am looking for a new adventure.
I am a true believer in timing. That everything has a season and I try to live my life purposefully and with happiness. I sincerely believe that laughing is truly the best calorie burner, and love is a gift if you are ever lucky enough to find it.
I am a convert to the church, and in these few years I have learned so much about sacrifice and hard work in the path of discipleship; and I know it is all worth the effort. I am an ordinance worker at the temple and I am reminded that there is no place more beautiful and holy.
I try to dedicate myself to learning a new skill every year, this year its the guitar. I love traveling and immersing myself in new cultures--try everything at least once. In the winter I enjoy going on walks while snowflakes fall, and then coming home to a fireplace and hot chocolate. But I also love fresh powder for a day of snowboarding/skiing on the mountains. In the summer I will be the first to suggest swimming, sand volleyball, or hiking in the mountains. Roller coasters, road trips, photography, books and playing with dogs also peak my interest.
I am easy going, spontaneous, and I geninuely enjoy service. I love going dancing and cooking is a passion.
I can be the life of a party, but I'd rather be the girl you bring home to meet your mom. I'm looking for someone who will make me want to be better every single day of our lives, who is devoted to the Lord, can appreciate life, and will be my best friend, lover, partner in crime, travel buddy, confidant, and teammate.
