A little about me...
I am a special education teacher and passionate about what I do. I have always had a passion for children, especially those with special needs. I am easy going and love to laugh. I am a "the glass is always more than half full" person. I have always been a very giving person. I enjoy reading the Scriptures daily. I maintain a healthy lifestyle, watching what I eat and following an exercise routine. I am looking for a man who is at least 5' 11" tall. I enjoy wearing heels and want to (literally) look up to the man standing beside me while I'm in them. I also like a man with "fur" on his chest. It is not necessary for you to look like "a George Atlas" type. I am also not attracted to someone who looks like a strong wind would knock over. I am looking for someone who is working on staying in shape ((50 lbs over your ideal weight), someone who is comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt and also a suit and tie, someone who enjoys going out to a movie, concert, or game and can also stay home cuddling on the couch to watch a movie with a bowl of popcorn, someone to share my day with and who will share his with me. In other words, I'm looking for the man who will give me my last, first kiss.
How I feel about the Church...
I love the church with all my heart, mind, and spirit. I honor the covenants I've made. The Book of Mormon has helped me find answers to some of life's difficult questions. I know the church is true. I have a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am firm in my commitment to honor the commandments. I am looking for someone who is active in the church, honors the priesthood, loves the Gospel, will be a loving stepfather, has high ideals, is honest, has a good sense of humor, enjoys life, enjoys listening to music, can be spontaneous, is not afraid to try new things (especially foods), enjoys snuggling on the sofa or holding hands when walking together, has an eternal perspective, has similar values and interests, and is between 50-60 years old.
What I do for fun...
I enjoy serving my sisters in the ward, attending church activities, spending time with family and friends, watching movies (especially ones that are uplifting), watching a sunset, playing pool, bowling, snow skiing, basketball, listening to all kinds of music, going for walks, going to the health club 5-6 times a week, cooking/baking (from scratch), sewing (when I have time), various crafts, and gardening/yard work. I have built a wall unit to hold all our movies. I enjoy watching all the classic and/or newer holiday movies with my kids. We enjoy decorating the house and yard together for the holidays and leaving a plate of cookies and a glass of milk for Santa. (My kids know if they say there's no Santa, they'll find coal in their stockings.)
