Greeting from crtuttle64:

My friends say that I'm Intelligent, witty, fun, honest, confident but not arrogant. Compassionate, generous and the best hostess. My Nieces and Nephews describe me as their favorite Aunt for the same reasons.

I work in the beauty industry and as openers I will ask people "What do you do for fun." After long pauses (I use to be surprised, not anymore) most will say "I don't have fun."

I find that interesting and sad. But I get that. In our world we are in such a hurry to do nothing. Won't even slow down long enough to open a door or let a person Merge ahead of your car. I use to be like that as well. But now I make a point to leave a few minutes early to be able to do that and it feels great. Isn't that what God would desire?

I also sometimes ask people what their favorite passage or scripture is. One lady said "Nobody has ever asked me that before." I have many but what I find is that most people always quote Jeremiah 23:11 or 1st. Corinthians 2:9

For I know the plans I have for you they are to prosper and not harm you or No eye has seen, no ear heard, nor mind can conceive what God has in store for those whom love him.

I ask "have you ever kept reading through those chapters?" In the 90's I did and what I thought was interesting was since I was raised Catholic I wasn't told about being "Filled with the Holy Spirit." But that is what it talks about. Seeking God, loving him with all your heart. Being filled with the Holy Spirit and then you can ask him anything. Also, that He will bring you out from where HE SENT YOU. Your trials. And given that it will explain why 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 is true.

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (Even the "seeming trials" we must be grateful.)

That is who I am and if it doesn't make sense to you...I'm not the girl for you.

If I had 1 million dollars I would be most likely to I'll tell you later
