I love the outdoors! I like to smile and laugh all the time, being serious is something I reserve for when it is needed. My go to emotion is always happiness, however, I would say that I am a realist not an optimist.
I enjoy almost all types of music (to play and sing/listen to) and movies. That being said I do not enjoy hard rock, heavy metal, or music with swear words.
My favorite color is teal and most shades of blue. I like to try new things and experiment around with different or new ideas just to see if it is something I may end up liking.
I love science and math, which is why I ended up majoring in a field that allowed me to have a multidisciplinary focus, while also having a heavy emphasis on stats.
I love animals and working with them, however, my favorite to own is a dog (I am allergic to cats).
I play tennis, golf, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and volleyball the most. I enjoy running, painting/drawing, watching LA Kings hockey, hiking/backpacking in the Sierras, baking goodies and many other activities.
I play a variety of musical instruments in the woodwind family and I sing. I currently work teaching music to children. I enjoy working with children and seeing their eyes light up when they understand a new or hard concept.
I am really lucky in that my family lives relatively close by so I can see my nieces and nephews quite often.
I am looking for someone who is my equal. I want to work together in this life in all things and eventually gain celestial glory. I would love it if that someone also loves music, the outdoors, and dogs! :)
Deal breakers: Someone who does not like dogs, someone who wants to live where it snows (I'd love to stay in California), someone who hardly ever wants to go to the temple or who thinks church is a social optional thing.
I love Christ with all my heart - He is my rock and anchor - and want to be with someone who feels the same way.
a few funny jokes:
what is a physicist's favorite food? Fission chips. :D
A pesticide scientists walks into a home and garden store. He asks an employee, "do you have any of that Glyphosate?"
Employee: "You mean roundup?"
Scientist, "Yes, I can never remember that darn name!"
