I'm very very funny, very, very loving and sensitive, optimistic, courageous, and confident in almost all situations. Believe all my kids would agree
I love the Gospel, love having a pioneer heritage and honor my forefathers--English and Norwegian. I had exceptional parents and still believe I can be the man my father was. Should have started much earlier, but I am going to try. My mother was extraordinary as well.
I have so much love to give and for whatever reason haven't had the opportunity to be in a relationship where that was possible. At least I believe that was the case.
I have undergraduate and graduate degrees (BYU and USC) and taught accounting and marketing at UOP in Stockton CA for four years.
Went to the Y on a football scholarship and was Cosmo after my mission to New Zealand. Had a serious back injury so only played in four games and was evicted from two of them. Clearly a misunderstanding. Have long since learned to channel my tenacity hopefully in a productive way.
I have done some unique things in the jewelry and diamond industry including owning a mine in South Africa. (There's a Saturday Evening Post article about this and I will send it upon request).
I didn't want to take the explorers in our ward camping to sleep in snow caves or try to build fires without matches(don't have any merit badges) so I got a ballooning license, bought a hot air balloon, and took them ballooning most Saturdays for three years. Let me know if you would like me to send you the New Era article on this fun adventure. It's wasn't too difficult to get a commitment from these Priests to go on a mission when you've got them in a wicker basket a couple of thousand feet above the valley.
I've traveled more than I should have over the years (Africa and China) and that's contributed to my being single at this point in my life. Should have balanced things a little better. Given the opportunity, it won't happen again.
I am quite certain I can offer someone more happiness than they've ever experienced on an ongoing basis and that we can, together, fulfill a mission that will accomplish much and bring a number of people more happiness than they've ever experienced.
I'll know my partner for the rest of mortality and eternity not too long after I meet her. Could take a month or two to be certain, but not long. Believe I have great potential spiritually and need someone's help in becoming all I can be and would be 1000% committed to helping them fully realize their potential. Kind of a "thee lift me, and me lift thee" relationship.
And I'm pretty certain that I'm at least ten years younger than my birth certificate would indicate, but I'll let you decide.
