"If you're gonna fail, do it quickly so you can learn and make it to the good part faster." With that being said......If I've contacted you and you're not interested just say so. I'm a big boy and can handle it and I wish you the best!
My top 3 conclusions about online dating.
#1-Women don't like flirts. It seems that a "flirt" on a dating website is about as effective as construction workers giving cat calls on the street. My apologies for the ones that I've sent. I thought it was more like a "hey there. I like your profile and I'd like you to look at mine, and if you don't think I'm a creep, then I'd like to try one of those conversation things..." Speaking of creeps, this brings me to,
#2-Apparently there are a bunch of creeps that stalk LDS women. I don't know if this makes it easier for me because I'm such a nice guy or harder because ya'll are far more guarded . I fear that my social awkwardness may be perceived as "creepy." So, as a man I apologize about the creeps, and know that I'm a gentleman, and very mindful of the example I set for when my daughters begin dating, If I decide to let it happen
#3-90% of women take pictures of themselves in a car. I don't know why. I just hope you're not driving while trying to get that perfect, pouty-lips pose of yours.
I'm really awkward when it comes to starting conversations, so bare with me, I promise once the ball gets rolling, you're in for some witty banter!
I am a bit shy and prefer smallish groups rather than large ones. I'm divorced and have 4 amazing daughters, Ages 4, 6, 6, and 7 that I share custody with their mother.
I have been running my own carpet cleaning and Water/Mold restoration business for the last 5 years
I like doing all things outdoors, or indoors with the right person/people. I'm looking for friends first, no rush. I enjoy movies (including random movie quotes), music, and have been known to bust a move or two. I'm not really into trying to describe myself to strangers, so don't be a stranger and I'll answer questions and have random conversations.
Nickleback's "Gotta Be Somebody" pretty well describes where I'm at. Youtube it and pretend I'm singing it :)
Music I Like- Hair Bands, 3 doors down, Daughtry, stuff like that. If I'm feeling especially sentimental I'll listen to a boy band which I deny if other guys are around. I like other music too. I have a healthy respect for people that can put what they're feeling into a song.
Movies I never seem to get tired of watching- The Sherlock Holmes movies, Taken, Defiance, Zoolander, National treasure 1&2, Catch Me if You Can, Inception, and for some weird reason Easy A ??? Too many other good movies to name.
