I'm currently living in Los Angeles, California pretty close to the LA temple. I studied economics at Stanford and then decided to go back and get an MBA and through a crazy string of events, now I use those skills in ........ Professional basketball.
My job is Assistant Coach/Player Development coach for the LA Lakers (Not the Utah Jazz or the Celtics), and if you like either one of those teams, then I might not be a "fit." :)
One good thing is that I have the chance to use some of what I learned in the MBA program as the "coordinator" for the Lakers advanced analytics team. Yes, pro-sports is now going the way of the rest of the world and starting to use every time of statistic to find a way to win games. In fact, I'm writing a letter of recommendation today for one of the UCLA masters students who is a statistician so that he can apply for the UCLA PHD stats program. (But ya know....important writing always comes first like polishing up a dating profile).
After serving a mission in Spain, (Any fellow Spain missionaries out there who pronounce the T,H, on their C's and Z's?), I've lived and worked in various places including Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, and, of course, good old Provo Utah.
I'm the 5th of 10 kids in my family and 8 out of 10 of us are married and there are 30 nieces and nephews.
Even though I travel a lot for work, I'm a Home Teaching supervisor, and was just called to be a ward missionary in the Westwood 2nd ward here in the LA Stake.
If you like to cook, hike, play sports, if you are punctual and like to hang out one on one and in groups I would love to talk to you!!
