Autumn in New England. Live music and theater. Road trips. Summer nights at Fenway Park. Drinking hot chocolate on a cold winter afternoon. These are just a few of my favorite things.
I have a blessed life. A great job, fantastic friends and the opportunity to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. I remind myself every day how lucky I am to have all that I do and I am looking for someone to share that abundance with.
In friends and people I date, I value honesty, quick wit and a willingness to look beyond oneself to see the greater world. I have had the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world. Through those experiences, my eyes have been opened and my world-view expanded. What matters most to me is being a good person, a loyal friend and contributing to the world in positive ways.
As an educator, intellect and education are also very important to me. I have always enjoyed working with young people and have spent my whole career working with teenagers in high schools. I run a small tutoring program for youth in my stake whose families are not able to help them with things like homework or college applications. It is an incredible reward to see their progress and achievements. I have always hoped to have children of my own and ideally, that would still be the case, but I also know that I would be a great step-parent, adoptive parent or foster parent and I would welcome that opportunity if it came my way.
In my daily life, I enjoy being active, spending time with close friends and serving in the church. I also love watching thought provoking movies, seeing live music and theater and all things outdoors. I consider myself fair-minded about politics and I enjoy looking at issues from multiple points of view. I like conversations with people that make me think and I don%u2019t mind a bit of disagreement once in a while.
I am looking for someone who is serious about having a long-term relationship who cares about others, has a broad world-view, is active in the church and wants to get out and enjoy life. If you think you and I would get along, I would love to hear from you.
