Hi, My name is Cassandra. I am currently an RN working in Tucson and I am just getting started with grad school, the next step to achieving my long time goal of becoming a nurse midwife.

I am the oldest of seven kids and I really love my family. I am so grateful for the blessings of being a part of an Eternal Family and the peace that it brings.

I like old fashioned things like canning and quilting. I think it's fun to learn how to make things you would normally buy.

I hate motorcycles. I have seen too many broken bodies.

I like to eat healthy, unprocessed, nutritionally dense food but I have my weak moments. I do love working out at the gym. I like to challenge my body and the endorphins don't hurt!

I enjoy movies, but I really love to read. Harry Potter is classic, but I also love everything by Gerald N. Lund and I'm pretty sure C.S. Lewis was inspired.

Growing up in Tucson has given me a love of thunderstorms. Not wimpy rain, but real monsoons.

I love my calling as ward music coordinator because it means I get to direct the choir. It's a lot of work but I love it.

I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and I am grateful for the blessings that come from being an active member of the church. I have faith that Heavenly Father has a plan for me, and in the mean time I am happy with being who I am and working to achieve my goals!
