I am a nice, normal girl. I have lots of friends, attend church regularly, and am quite successful professionally. I am friendly and outgoing. I have a goofy sense of humor that I often use to make tense situations lighter.
I grew up in a small town in eastern Idaho and now live in a suburb of Boise in western Idaho. I have two degrees - a B.A. in History and a Masters in Counseling. I work as a counselor in an underprivileged middle school. It is a great job - fullfilling, never boring!
I love to travel, read, serve others, bake, play board /card /Wii games and more. I am pretty artistic and crafty. I paint, sew, make jewelry, and other artsy crafty stuff. I went golfing for the first time this summer and although I totally sucked at it, I loved it! I bought a set of whiskey tangle golf clubs and hopefully will be spending some time on the driving range very soon! :)
So why aren't I married you wonder . . . here's the scoop - I was in a pretty serious relationship at the beginning of undergrad (ring shopping and all). . . the relationship ended badly and I was very hurt for a long time. I avoided dating for awhile and just hung out with friends. By grad school I was ready to date again, but was too busy with school, work, and internships. I graduated and figured I'd meet someone, but found that there aren't so many opportunities to meet people anymore.
I am upbeat and enjoy being with other upbeat and optimistic people. I don't like being rushed in relationships, I think that first you have to get to know eachother, then become friends, and then the relationship can develop into something more.
