I moved from the West (Boise, ID) to Memphis, TN a few months ago for optometry school. I love the West and miss it like crazy - especially the mountains - but Memphis has been great so far. School is insanely busy, but it's nice to get out and have some fun every once in a while. I live for the outdoors - especially climbing (ESPECIALLY climbing), backpacking, mt. biking, and snowboarding. I am very easy-going though, and sometimes I just want to spend a relaxing day at home.

Music is a big part of my life. I play(ed) the drums, but sadly had to sell them to finance my move across the country. Heartbreaking. I cried that day. I listen mostly to alternative and indie rock. I listen never to country or Top 40s. I can accept that you might, but please don't force me to. I'm pretty sure I'm allergic and will probably die.

My fav sports are baseball, hockey, and I LOOOOVVVVE College Football (Go Boise State)!!!!! I also love running, biking, and swimming. Fitness is a huge deal to me. I am looking for someone who is also passionate about staying active and fit and who is willing to spend time in the outdoors. I believe taking care of oneself physically reaps spiritual and emotional benefits as well. Spending time in the outdoors also helps us rid ourselves of nagging materialistic desires.

The church is an absolutely integral part of my life, and I would like to meet someone for whom it is the same. The restored gospel influences each decision I make every day. I served a full-time mission in Brazil and am so grateful for the wonderful life lessons it taught me. I am striving to learn each day how to be more like my Savior ... and I've gotta long way to go.
