Time for a bit of an update!

I have been a member of the church all my life and have a strong testimony of its truth. I love going and feeling the spirit there. I hope to find someone who believes and puts their faith in God the way I do. I have a temple recommend but do not get there as much as I would like.

I enjoy working with the special kids at school. They have emotional and behavioral disorders, so I am a - tell it like it is- type of person. Honesty means a lot to me.

I have two children, a daughter who is just back from her mission in Germany and is now at BYU Idaho, and a son who is serving a mission in the Tempe, AZ area. I am back to being an empty-nester except for my pets. I stay busy going to college and I'm about to finish my Associates degree, yes better late than never and I enjoy learning.

I love reading, writing, sketching, playing the piano and taking long walks. I also enjoy listening to all types of music. I bought a guitar recently and my new adventure is to teach myself how to play! Unless someone can teach me? I enjoy a good action movie and some romantic comedies. History and genealogy have always been a passion of mine. I've been doing genealogy for as long as I can remember.

I have a great sense of humor and try to find the bright side of every situation, even when it seems impossible. I have a very sarcastic sense of humor (I blame the kids I work with - they made it worse!) Working with these troubles youths you have to have a sense of humor, most of the time to joke them out of the stress they're under. Working with them has shown me how blessed I was with my own children and my life.
