I’m a southern girl born and bred with 200+ years of southern roots. I have southern hospitality, roots, and values. Because of that, I probably won’t make first contact.(br( span="") /)
I(/br() have 2 mottos I am applying to this stage of my life. 1) I’m not looking for someone I can live with, I’m looking for someone I can’t live without. 2) Don’t sacrifice what you want for what you want right now. I made both of these mistakes in my first marriage and I won’t do it again.
I’m strong, independent, giving, and respectful. But, I grew up in a man’s world and I work as an executive in corporate America’s man’s world. So, I can be ruthless if I have to be but it's not in my nature to be so. I’m not naïve’ and my cup is half full. I’m not a drop dead skinny, beautiful model. What I am is faithful, loving, kind, affectionate and compassionate.
I’m young at heart. I love to play and have fun. I’m game for almost anything. I prefer live events over televised. The atmosphere is so different. I love fishing. Alaska fishing is my passion and I do it every summer. I love amusement parks. I love the adrenaline rush of a roller coaster. I love the beach. I was born a mermaid.
I'm not needy or clingy. No drama here. I hate confrontation. I refuse to debate. I am emotionally and mentally healthy. I’m looking for someone who will accept me for who I am. I’m not perfect and I recognize and take responsibility of my faults. I am looking for someone who is ready to just go. I don’t like sitting around and doing nothing.
The gospel is very important to me. I have an unshakable testimony. I learned a long time ago that the church is true, not necessarily the people. If this isn't the Lord's chuch, then it doesn't exist. I served a mission in West Virginia. I was married to a non member for 21 years but nt-weight:bold;")stayed active through the marriage and fulfilled my various callings from YW and Primary president to Seminary and Gospel doctrine teacher. I love the temple and want to try to visit every one of them. I currently serve in our small branch as the seminary teacher and the Gospel Principles teacher. I love teaching.
I spend the school year meeting myself coming and going. Soccer games, quiz bowl, dance competitions, band, church youth activities. I have 3 kids ages 20 (boy), 13 (boy) and 11 (girl). If you have kids our family would welcome them with open arms.
I spend my summers and spring break traveling with the kids, fishing in Alaska, boating and skiing on the lake, going to the beach, etc. Last year we went to Orlando again for spring break and to New York, Niagra Falls, Palmyra, Hill Cummorah, and Alaska for the summer. This year we cruised to the Virgin Islands for spring break. This summer we will be spending a month in Alaska and maybe a week in Navoo and a week in SLC. Next year is Europe. We hope to get our scuba certifications. Eventually I want to go to Australia for a month or 2 and dive the Great Barrier Reef.
I like getting together with friends and cooking out, having swim parties with some water volleyball, playing games or cards, swapping stories, bowling, never golfed but doesn't mean I ld;")wouldn't try, target shooting, hunting. I'm game for almost anything.
