I love the gospel of Jesus Christ... I feel like it consumes my thoughts. I want to be better every day. So grateful to know that I have a Savior that makes that possible.
I work as an internal auditor for INTL FCStone. On the side I have been taking photos for friends' events (engagements, weddings, family photos, etc.) I play the piano, love singing, tried to learn the guitar but gave up and picked up the viola a year ago--super enjoy it! I've still kept up on my Spanish as best I can. Currently attending the singles branch. I love going and serving the other singles.
During the week you'll probably catch me editing photos from a previous shoot, reading in my scriptures, NOT cleaning up my bedroom, heading off to the temple, testing out my lens and some lighting in my home, eating a bowl of cereal for dinner or some pizza, on my way to Institute on Tuesday nights, hanging out with my parents, talking on the phone with my brother, FHE with the singles, kneeling down in prayer when I'm feeling confused or just need someone to talk to, practicing my viola, writing in my journal about something impactful that just happened to me, running back inside because I forgot the lunch I just packed for myself, running inside back again because I forgot my badge for work, browsing Facebook, folding some laundry that's sat in the dryer for more than day, throwing away some meat that I thawed out and forgot to use to cook a meal cause I got distracted, working on a new report for the Branch President and other clerk-y stuff, singing along with my BYU Choir archive CDs, staring at my wall wishing there was a piano on it, finally deciding to unload my dishwasher instead of using it as my dish cabinet, getting out on my bike for a ride (just picked that up recently), looking in my cabinets full of stuff and saying to myself there's nothing to eat, ha, staring off into nothingness with tears rolling down my cheeks as I reflect on the love that the Lord has for me despite what I do and don't do, despite what I should and shouldn't do--I am amazed...
On the weekends I'm most likely visiting my parents and watching a movie together, running errands, going to a Singles activity, working on little things around the house, attending an endowment session or baptism session at the temple that's 10 minutes from my house!, working on my parents' personal history by sitting down and interviewing them, helping my dad outside in the yard, going a couple hours early to church because I've got meetings, staying a couple hours after church because of other clerk stuff.
I'm easily persuaded to go on an adventure. Took a trip down to Moab recently and thoroughly enjoyed some ATVing, horseback riding, hiking, photographing. I got back from my trip at 11:00 at night, and the next morning ran a 5K color run with my friend. I'm not a runner per se, but I like doing stuff like that every once in awhile.
Message me sometime! I'm sure we can find something to connect about.
