I am determined to never stop progressing. I love learning, challenging myself, and reaching for goals--however big or small. (I am currently becoming more adept at repairing appliances, of necessity.) I plan to live a long and healthy life so I can experience all I can.
Balance is the key to life. I like to work hard and play hard. Daylight saving time is the best--more time to bike, run, hike, play ultimate frisbee, camp, climb, explore, etc.
My work with kids in speech therapy has been immensely rewarding; I love to see kids improve and be part of their overcoming their struggles. At the same time, I have had some interesting insights as to how God works with us through our own customized challenges. I am positive that while our adversity usually comes in the area in which we feel weakest, it is exactly the area we need and God is constantly giving us just enough help for us to be successful.
While I am more reserved in a crowd, 1:1 is my forte. My most cherished moments come from getting into deeper conversations with people--discussing the gospel or life in general. There are a lot of things to learn from anyone and everyone.
Some of my quirks include 1) I set my alarm for random times (like 6:03), 2) I have an immense love for fruit and popcorn, 3) I have a ridiculously large compilation of notes from studying the scriptures, 4) I have a fetish for jackets, and 5) I hate shopping (unless it is for gear or food).
I am not into playing dating "games." I value honesty and open communication in a relationship. I tend to be transparent and I am happy to share what I am thinking and feeling.
I am seeking a man who honors his priesthood, has an active testimony of the gospel, and desires to be a husband/father. I realize there is an additional depth of progression to be had in a covenant partnership, and I am looking forward to it!
