I think that a connection and conversation are extremely important in any relationship - but mostly I just want someone who loves the heck out of me. The rest we can work out.
In the meantime – this is all about looking for someone that I want to get to know more. Someone that I want to know me – who I can be me with. That I want to spend more than 10 minutes with – that I can’t get enough of. I want it to be easy and obvious. Eternity is way too long a time to fake it. So if the answer is no – it is our job not to take it personally – but to move on – forward – and keep looking.

About Me:
I dabble in just about everything - currently I'm learning a lot about photography. I am an avid baker, and try to give more of it away than I eat. To counteract the baked goods, I have rediscovered a love for cycling (but not in the cold dark wet that is Portland winters). I'm always looking for ways to exercise that I'll like and do. I like to eat too much to not be active. Vicious cycle - but it's worth it. I sing, mostly in the car these days. I have 2 guitars and have learned to play them 3 times – but haven’t picked either up in a while. I frequent $5 Tuesday night movies with friends, which means I’ve seen more than my share of bad movies in the last year.
Though I work in Finance – I am not really a “finance” person as I have never taken a formal finance course in my life. My degree from BYU is in Linguistics. I’ve been working for Intel for 10+ years and am lucky to love what I do and who I do it with. I am hopeful that I will get to make the choice to walk away from this career and be a stay at home mom. A girl can dream, right? I am completely smitten with my little niece born in Sept '11. Can't wait to have my own.
The travels in my photo album are mostly from when I lived in England (2007-2008). weight:bold;")I also had the opportunity to study abroad in China. Now my life is back and quite firmly rooted in the West (meaning America, and right now the west coast). I love it here. I love to travel(most recent trip was to Iceland in April'13, next up Aruba in July) and hope to see more of the world with someone else who enjoys broadening his experience and understanding of the world.
*** Distance is not a deal breaker to me, but I don't believe in going too far down the rabbit hole without meeting. Chemistry is just too important. I have a theory about dating in airports. ;) Ask me about it if you are interested.
