I'm from Salt Lake City. I did my undergraduate in electrical engineering at the University of Utah. I stayed at the University for my masters, where I made a chip that records your brain-waves in order to control prosthetics. This would allow a person who has an arm missing to control an attached robotic arm just by thinking. I am now completing my PhD in electrical engineering and am designing a chip that has potential to replace Bluetooth, as it is more power efficient. I plan on doing a startup after I graduate to commercialize it - pending the extent of the chips success. If the start up doesn't happen I plan on doing marketing for a micro-chip manufacture.
It is important to me that my wife or I raise our children. As such I have made it a priority to be able to earn enough money to support my family should my wife choose to stay at home. But if we find out that it is better for me to stay home with the kids while she works, that is something I am fine with.
I like girls with opinions and the capability of defending them. I don't care what your opinions are, as much as I care that you know why you have them. If you're looking for a man who will value your thoughts and will help you develop them by constructively challenging them - I am that man.
I am an extravert that enjoys making people laugh and am pretty good at it. If you're looking for someone who is witty, good at "dad" humor, and at times goofy then consider me. However, I need more than an audience. I desire someone who can play along and keep a joke going. If you enjoy watching Seinfeld, Simpsons, and Arrested Development, then I’m already confident this has potential.
I am looking for someone who is in shape and likes playing sports. I enjoy tennis, soccer, and volleyball the most, but also am up for Frisbee, baseball, and occasionally basketball. I enjoy playing and winning but am not competitive to the extent that I get angry or worked-up about it. But I do require a certain level of athletic competence so that the game can be played.
I will be the first to admit that I'm not good at all when it comes to online flirting/courting. If you don't know me well and can't hear how I say things, I come off as an idiot. I prefer to meet up for lunch.
