Recently, a friend invited me to an event at another church. She was being recognized for volunteer work, and I wanted to support her. It turned into pretty much a church service. And while everyone was super nice, I was really uncomfortable because I felt something missing, and I knew what it was. What a difference the Priesthood makes!
I'm a Valley Girl. Yep, I live in the beautiful Shenandoah valley of Va! LoL! I do like the mountains. Winter always seems eternal, but when spring does come, the trees explode with blossoms, the grass is rich and green, and it's perfect weather for gardening, taking a hike up the mountains, or a stroll through the farmer's market. And I really enjoy camping. :)
As you might tell from my photos, I'm pretty active in politics. I really enjoy being involved, meeting people, and working to make a difference in our nation's future. I am deeply concerned about what we're leaving the next generation.
I enjoy my Church calling. I get to teach the 5 your olds. I don't always get through the lesson; but I think we teach each other. They definitely teach me patience. Mom says there's no greater calling than Primary. We are preparing future Church and community leaders
I'm looking for someone who shares my commitment to strong, conservative values, believes in America, and is aware of the world around them. I'm also looking for someone who values education, has integrity, a solid work ethic, and honors his Priesthood. And yes, physical attraction is important. I like to stay fit; I take care of myself and try to put forth a good impression in my appearance, and I expect him to as well.
What is not important right now is distance -- I'm ok if you are. We can always just chat. If anything happens, great! And if not, well friends in distant lands make the world a smaller place.
Oh, and one last thing. If you like to eat, I'm a pretty good chef. Just ask aout my grilled London broil, my Tuscan tortellini soup, or my pear and custard tart. I enjoy making and eating good food, and it's even better with good company. I can say the most important places in the home I hope to share, will be the kitchen and the dining table. :)
