A few unique and interesting facts about me:
I am very passionate (to say the least) about politics and a very active, life-long member of the Republican party. During the 2012 Presidential campaign, I was the undefeated phone champion in Virginia, making at least 500 calls a night, around 4,000 a week, operating 4 phones at once, competing with entire offices. One Super-Saturday, I did campaign calls from 9 am to 9 pm, non-stop!
Being involved in politics has led to incredible opportunities. I was selected with two other volunteers to greet Congressman Paul Ryan at our local airport. During the recent, 2013 VA gubernatorial campaign, a friend and I were recognized by Marco Rubio at a banquet for efforts in door-to-door campaigning for Ken Cuccinelli (who is one of the most intelligent, sincere, and caring individuals I've ever had the pleasure of knowing). I've met Mitt and Ann Romney and the Romney boys, Rick Santorum, and Oliver North, I was also in a commercial for my local state senator, Mark Obenshain, who ran for Attorney General.
Four people I would still love to meet are Sean Hannity, Brett Baier, Ann Coulter, and Allen West.
Who have you always dreamed of meeting? What would you say to them?
When I'm not involved wth campaigning, I enjoy expressing my artistic abilities. I love to find hidden treasures in old "junk". In fact, my home is furnished with discoveries from thrift stores, yard sales, and even off the side of the road that I've "upcycled". I am a confessed, habitual painter and crafter, and I love a crafty challenge!
I enjoy my Church calling. I get to teach the 5 your olds. I don't always get through the lesson; but I think we teach each other. They definitely teach me patience. Mom says there's no greater calling than Primary. We are preparing future Church and community leaders.
What I'm Looking For:
First of all, a man with strong, conservative values - someone who is also pro-life, pro-2nd amendment, and limited federal government. And sorry, but if you think Obama is the greatest thing since sliced cheese, don't let the door slam on your way out.
Someone who enjoys history and follows current events -- someone aware of the world around them. And knowing whatever Miley Cyrus twerked last night doesn't count.
