My children and I joined the church in 2005. Since that time we have been greatly blessed in many ways. I have a strong testimony of the gospel, ask and I will tell you how I walked away from a horrific accident with virtually no injury. Only with the help of our Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit did I survive such an ordeal in the way that I did.
I have three beautiful children. My boys are 12 and 19, my daughter is 17. We have a large furry friend living in the home, her name is Sheila, her breed is an Alaskan Husky.
We live in a small community which is located in Southeastern Alaska near the Canadian border on a small island. The population here is about 9000. This nearly triples in the summer months with the cruise ship industry and other tourists.
I am a woman who loves the fishing, hiking and camping activities that there are here in Alaska. In the summer the children and I also love to take the canoe out to one of the local lakes and paddle around.
I am currently working as a Case Manager assisting those on the Alaska Temporary Assistance Program secure full time employment to become self-sufficient. I love working as a Case Manager and working with those I serve each day. I also work Part-time as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic to relax one day a week.
