Hi there! :)
I JUST transferred to The Art Institute of Salt Lake City (1.8.14), and look forward to finishing my degree in Graphic Design here. This degree is incredibly important to me, but church is my number one priority. It's fun and what makes me happy, and I'm looking for someone with the same attitude and goals.
I'm easing my way back onto the dating scene at this point. I've had some rough experiences these last few years, and "gun shy" would be an understatement lol.
I love jazz music, swing dancing, anything 50's, volleyball, softball, Euchre, board games, movies, photography, plays, piano, roller coasters, and about a million other things. I like making memories and having awesome photos and stories to share, so I'm normally up for most anything. If I don't have an interest in something, it's probably because I haven't tried it yet. :)
Some guys have told me I'm intimidating, but I say these last few years have taught me what I really want, and I know how to stick to my guns now. (I'll let you decide what that makes me, haha.) So, what AM I looking for? #1 - I recently made a promise to myself that I would only date active members of the church who were temple worthy, with current recommends. No more games. As for the rest, everything else tends to fall into place when #1 is in order.
My favorite people are honest, and my favorite of favorites are the ones who make me laugh. I believe in being fiercely loyal. I believe "every saint has a past and every sinner has a future." I'm more concerned about the direction you're moving in than the one from which you're coming. I believe 1 whole person + 1 whole person = 1 whole relationship. The happier, healthier you are as an individual, the more you have to contribute to a relationship.
I've noticed several guys my age are divorced with children. Not going to lie - that IS intimidating - but I'm not going to rule someone out because of it.
Congratulations for making it to the end! I'm still figuring out how I feel about online dating, and I'd much rather meet in person. If you're ever around Salt Lake on a Thursday night, come country dancing at Infinity! Chances are, you'll find me there! :)
