I think of myself as a caring, hard-working, and rather funny individual. I love my family and I’m very close to them. I love the gospel and I enjoy taking an active part in my ward and serving/getting to know the different members.
I earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree, and I’m now working full time in training and development. I enjoy trying to figure out solutions to organizations problems and help individuals and groups improve.
I enjoy reading, particularly religious or self-improvement books. I like working out (lifting weights, etc.) I’m not good at sports and don’t really love watching them, but in weight lifting I just have to focus on improving myself… No pressure from team members, or being concerned about what other people are thinking about my performance. This next line will likely cause many people to leave my profile since it seems a majority of the female profiles I look at rate hiking, camping, and fishing as the best things in the world… I’m ok with outdoors activities but if given the choice between camping and a Hotel room I will always err on the side of a nice room and a flushing toilet. I’m more of a home body, but I do enjoy traveling. I’m a huge Broadway fan and love to go to Disneyland.
(br /(/br)One challenge I have seen in dating (both in friends, acquaintances, and myself) is the mindset that someone has to be a “perfect” match. I believe it’s great to have similar hobbies, goals, likes, etc. But I think marriage is taking the best of your goals, dreams, and qualities with the best of someone else’s goals, dreams, and qualities and putting them together. Every aspect of likes and dislikes don’t need to align perfectly.
I’ve avoided getting on this site for an extended period of time… But because of my limited opportunities to meet girls I’m interested in dating I’m finally putting myself on here. I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot and am happy with my life. Nevertheless it would be great to move forward to new challenges and opportunities with someone by my side. Someone that I can help, love, support, laugh and serve with and someone who will do the same for me.
