I love animals especially dogs, would love to learn to ride a horse-its on my bucket list, music, honesty, church. I'm a listener as opposed to a talker usually, a little on the shy side, at least until I get to know a person. I enjoy peace and quiet, good conversation and working on my genealogy. I like to dance although haven't had the opportunity to do that for some time. Love travel and have spent 4 years in Germany. I visited several countries while there. Love exploring castles that is the only reason I marked that I would like to live in a castle. I'm not good at small talk unless I know you but have no problem standing up and talking in front of crowds (part of my job). I have a dry sense of humour, sometimes a little off the wall, so I've been told. Can handle teasing and toss it right back. I'm very easy to get along with and it is almost impossible to insult me. I get over things such as insults or arguments within 5 minutes of them happening. Never intentionally hurt anyone and if I think I have I talk about it and apologize if necessary . I feel that I am quite adventurous and will try anything once to find out whether I like it. Do not like bugs but can ignore them if I’m doing something fun outside. Like walks in the rain (warm rain), love thunderstorms. Not afraid of anything except the bugs. I’m a very good listener and don’t gossip.

The ideal person I am looking for is honest, has a sense of humour, open to new things, healthy, active but not overboard. Also someone who understands that I need a little me time now and again, adventurous, loves animals a lot especially dogs.

Someone who is romantic and can be counted on. Someone to give me a hug when I need it. Someone I can go to when I need advice or help or loving. Someone who is trustworthy and willing to talk if there are problems. All of these things listed I will give back to you and more.

I would like to try new adventures. I like to eat relatively healthy, and be active enough to not have to worry about my weight. I like movies, dancing, playing games, cards, pool etc. I enjoy playing my piano. I enjoy walking and holding hands, cuddling. Love motorcycles. Have my license but haven't driven since 1985-6 when I got it. I'm in to crafts, woodworking and renovations when I have the time. I don't enjoy cooking as much as I used to but that could change for the right person. . I do love to have food storage. It makes life easier. I have a stamp collection that I haven't worked on in years unfortunately. I love working on genealogy, I like to sew, knit, crochet (not great at it), all the things that a man usually expects a woman to do, with one exception. I will be honest. I like my house to be clean and tidy but I hate housework so to find someone who would be willing to share that with me would be ideal. I'm versatile though as I really enjoy piling wood. I pretend there are no bugs.

I enjoy music of all kinds but prefer country and western on the car radio. I play the piano and like playing classical mostly but will play other stuff. I am currently the adult Sunday school teacher at my branch and I play the opening and closing songs for RS. When I did the interest section here I marked in things that I hadn't necessarily done but have wanted to do. There are some things I haven't tried and didn't mark that I would certainly try. I could live in a castle or a cabin in the woods (with a few amenities) . I’ll explain the castle thing if you are interested.
