I am fun loving, and really enjoy partying (in the appropriate fashion, of course). To me, life is about making great memories with those I care about most. I like to dance, although I am admittedly not very good at it.
I like to stay up late and get up early, trying to maximize my day. I really don't like to waste precious time doing nothing, would much rather be progressing with something or having fun! Hard for me to pass up an invitation to some kind of get together. I really enjoy having good friends who are likewise very social and energetic.
I like to set up activities with friends and co-workers as often as possible, and I like to fill out my lunches/evenings/weekends with activity. Not always successful, but I work toward it.
I served my mission in Brasilia, Brazil, and it changed my life. I love the Brazilian people and culture. Ties to Brazil, fluency in Portuguese, and a willingness to possibly live in Brazil are all really big pluses!
I love speaking Portuguese, I feel it is a beautiful and expressive language. At the moment, I work for prominent card game and board game company, working with retailers in Latin America speaking Spanish and Portuguese. I love it!!!
As you can imagine, I love games of all kinds (video, card, board, you name it)! Especially playing together with friends and family, and at reunions.
I studied pre-med in college, and I went to Ecuador for 10 weeks to work in a hospital as a internship. It was great, but it became apparent that science and health were something I loved as a hobby, and that my career should be centered around Latin America and language.
I am a family man to the core, and I have always dreamed of having a large family. I have one daughter, who I see regularly (about every-other weekend). It is difficult, because she lives in Central Oregon, about 6 .5 hours each way, but it is always worth it. I definitely want more children, though if not possible, it is not a deal breaker. I love children, and generally enjoy children activities (cartoons, video games, primary activities, scripture stories, FHE, family fun center type places, public pools, etc.).
I have a rock solid testimony of the church now. I have had my failings in life, and for a short time I quit going to church. But I try to learn from my experiences, and am greatly motivated and dedicated to the church, even if things aren't going well at the moment. I feel like time is flying by, but I do not want to rush a marriage, and it must be in the temple. Would rather wait than not.
