Greeting from TwoWingsToFly:

I love life, my kids, and my job. My little girl who lives with me is my world. I own hundreds of acres of beautiful forests, fields, streams, and trails. I am very loyal. I honor agency. I believe men and women are equal, and yet are so wonderfully different that they lack and need what the other can bring to complete, fulfill, and perfect them. I believe it's just as important to praise and compliment children as it is to lovingly correct. I love children. Honesty is very important to me. I feel the most important decision of life is who and where you marry. I'm open and easy to talk to. I am very forgiving. I'm light-hearted and love to make people laugh and feel good. I'm far from perfect but do my best to live a clean life and I have a clear conscience. (However, I still can't read The Miracle of Forgiveness without feeling occasional pangs of guilt). I never run from problems. I keep my promises. I can't bear to see suffering without helping. I am extremely patient. I hate contention, dishonesty, and ingratitude. I am romantic and very affectionate. I love having deep, spiritual conversations. I find those sacred times are where people really connect. What I love the most is to make people happy; to give them wings to fly.

I can't even begin to explain how I feel about the Gospel. How do you put into words feelings of conviction that you would die for? The greatest honor of my life is to hold the Priesthood. I remember at age 27 when I was called to be a High Priest. I went home and read Alma chapter 13 and just cried. On July 20th 1980, as a 17 year old boy I made a covenant with the Lord that every day for the rest of my life I will write in my Journal and read at least one chapter in the Book of Mormon. I have kept that promise for going on 32 years now and will continue for as long as I am here. My Journal is my favorite material possession. My testimony is my very favorite possession. I know that Christ's Church is here, that it is real, and that it is true. But even if it wasn't, I would still live it. There isn't a better way to live. If everyone lived the principles of the Gospel our courts would be empty, our prisons would close down, and rivers of tears would dry up. The Church is true. I don't take that for granted. I love the Prophets; they are my heroes. But above all, I know that Jesus Christ lives. He is my best Friend. I don't know why He is so good to me. He amazes me, and I love Him with all I've got. He gives us wings to fly.

I love to play. I am a kid at heart and love to have fun. I love to go for walks in the woods, four-wheeling, going to a nearby crystal-clear lake on my boat and just letting go soaking up the sun, wakeboarding, swimming, snorkeling, and diving down so deep that it's dark and cold. I love to go up in my back fields at night and lie down and look at the sky and watch for shooting stars. I love astronomy; it amazes me what our Father is doing up there. I enjoy watching movies and playing games with my family, camping out, going on trail rides with our horses with my daughter, playing hide and seek, building forts, playing tag, going out to dinner, out to movies, sledding, watching my crazy boys hit jumps, snowshoeing back into our deep woods and building a fire, swinging on vines, playing with puppies, the sound of the peepers in the spring, giving shoulder rides, traveling, porch swings, the smell of baking, fresh sheets, and puppy's breath. I love thunderstorms, snowstorms, clean country air, taking kids for a ride on my huge tractor and watching them light up when I ask them if they would like to drive. I love reading the scriptures, going to the Temple and spiritual conversations. The smell of fresh cut grass, still whipping my boys in wrestling, building snowmen and tunnels in drifts, Christmas and birthdays, gardening, swinging, looking at old pictures, stories, flying, the ocean, watching my daughter when I tell her she can't date until she's 35, ice-skating, Sundays, lightning bugs, romantic love, putting together a puzzle with someone while talking, presents, hugs, knowing that that prayer will be answered before you even say Amen, road trips, when the power goes out, bedtime stories, heights, the first spoonful after a long fast, holding a baby, snow-days from school, the sound of crickets on summer nights, all animals, gratitude, tickling, leaves in the fall, happy secrets, "I love you"'s, the moon, trying new things, vanilla, service projects, laughter, buying things for loved ones, the gentle breeze, happy tears,..........and life.
