Any weekend you'll find me having an awesome time running through the mud while jumping over fire pits, camping out in the wilderness, going to the Pantages for a taste of musical theater, leading a woman out on the dance floor, enjoying dinner on the pier, or dessert in front of a bonfire.
Now, not all life is fun and games. I work hard so that I can play hard. At the end of the work day, you can find me moving heavy weights at the local Crossfit Gym, getting my hands dirty improving my house, or preparing for the weekend. I enjoy going out to have fun on the week days, but personal responsibility and independence are important drivers in my life. They enable me to do the things I enjoy doing.
I believe in having a bucket list and working to make the things on your list a reality. It's great to go back and see what you've accomplished or done through the last year and think about what you want to do next year. The only hard thing is when you do something really awesome and amazing and then you want to do it again...
I quit my super stable job last year for something more exciting that allows me more freedom to travel... So I've been spending a lot of time visiting new places and meeting new people. So far this year I went to Northern California, Yosemite, the Rockies, Denver, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and other places in Southern California. It's been a wild ride and I hope to be traveling for a long time. As long as you don't have a house or a family, might as well enjoy the perks of being single!
