Thank you for visiting my profile.
There's a lot to share, beginning with my gratitude for being a member of His church and my dad for introducing the gospel to us, his family, and I don't think that to this day he has any idea of the magnitude of him introducing us to the church. If he could but gain a testimony... =)
As I do work around my place, I realize that it's time to meet someone special, someone that shares the same spirit and desire for a harmonious relationship built in mutual love, peace, and that feeling that you just know you are with the right person all the way.
So, this is my little message about what's in my heart to share at this moment, with you; there's more to share, and I'd be glad to, as well as know more about you.
Note note: much needed update note note.
I wanted to share about some exciting missionary events that occurred recently.
Here are some experiences since march 27, 2014:
This past Thursday I met with our new two sets of missionaries, tow elders and two sisters, on five different occasions in between my interpreting appointments to introduce them to my referrals and we taught all five different times, all this past Thursday alone, all with the message of the first vision and great prayers.
And yesterday, I referred the sisters to a great family that I shared the gospel with during this difficult past year for them ( kidswith very difficult issues that parapsychology shouldn't be?) and ( I know, a running sentence...) and I was to meet them there. I did, could only stay twenty minutes, showed them the first vision in my ipad, bore my testimony again, and had to leave to my interpreting appointment.
On my way I decided to listen to the spirit and got the elders from their apartment and took them with me to my appointment. They waited for me in the car ( great to read scriptures and save them some miles and gas) and afterwards we did some follow ups.
The sisters texted that the lady and son we saw earlier had committed to baptism in a couple of weeks!
They had not committed before, and I am excited while at the same time thinking what else I could do to help this family gain a great testimony, and I am thinking snail mail will help.
So I had two great missionary days and I find myself always itching to do more missionary work.
I have to great teens at home, and thought they are not going to church at this time, I can only keep praying that they do and that by example that they may not simply come back, but also be anxiously engaged in the work one day.
So, as you can see, the only thing I am missing is that someone special =)
May you have a terrific and awesome day.
p.s.: Favorite Hymn:
"Lord, I would follow thee"
by Susan Evans McCloud
I love the scriptures that are depicted below the hymn:
1 John 3:16-19
1 John 4:21
May His love be all around you.
