Hmmm . . . well, I guess the best way to explain who I am is to talk a little bit about my interests. I switched my undergraduate major in college from pre-med, to pre-law, then finally settled on Studio Art, but I only did it for the money. Then I decided to get a Master's Degree in philosophy, but only because chicks dig philosophy. Right? At that is what they told me when they were recruiting for the program. I thought about getting an MFA in creative writing just so that I could say that I have the trifecta of useless unmarketable degrees but I finally decided against more debt. I wanted to though. Of course the truth is that I did all of this because I really love the humanities. Pretty much anything that no would want to pay you to do, that is what I like. I guess I am an artist at heart, for better or worse. Most people see little value in these kinds of things (or reading books for instance) and see it mostly as a waste of their time, whereas I see video games and twitter, 95% of Facebook, and all of TMZ as a waste of time. Call me crazy. I like good conversation, but I struggle a little making small talk about trivial things. I like to discuss things that really matter. If it isn't a debate that has been going on for at least 200 years and will probably continue to be debated for the next 200 years then it probably isn't worth my time.
Of course, I do like to have fun with some entertainment every now and then. Sometimes I like a good action movie with lots of explosions and cheesy tough guy dialogue as much as the next guy. I also like sports, probably a little bit too much, but I try to keep it check.
Anyway, that is a little bit about me. If you find yourself wanting to discuss any 'deep thoughts' that you've been having lately, let me know. It would be fun to talk to you.
