I'm a fairly simple guy, doing his best to live the gospel and trying hard to apply the admonition of Paul. Education, progression and growth are important to me. I'm a scientist and explorer by nature, an engineer by training. I'm interested in any thing and everything that is "virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy". Currently I am doing a Executive MBA at the University of Utah. Fun stuff!

I love new experiences and just seeing what there is to see. I'm not really a daredevil anymore but I absolutely love a challenge. Teach me something new, send me on a road trip, let me take you to a game or on a hike, let me chase a ball, or just put a fly rod in my hand and I am a happy man.

Years of church service and responsibility, and just life experience in general, have taught me that if I can figure out how to truly be kind -- not just polite and courteous on the outside but truly kind on the inside -- that everything else falls in to place. That doesn't mean I lack rough edges. You will find plenty of them and sometimes (but not too often) they are sharp. You will also find ample strength and more than enough stubbornness to do what is right. Zion is for us to build -- inside and out.

I am looking for a confidant and companion with similar beliefs, desires, ambitions, and commitment. There is something to being evenly matched. Still waters run deep. That's me.
