Greeting from Tbird75:

Hi, I'm Jim. What can I write that will capture your attention, cause you to see with your spiritual eyes, and feel with your heart?

I am a hopeless romantic and believe in “Happily Ever After”. But I don't live in a "Fairy Tale" world. I am easy going and flexible, except for when it comes to my moral convictions and standards, which are very high. I stand fast to them. I do my best to live my religion and I try to attend the Temple regularly. I love to show affection and I'm very caring. I love to receive affection in return. I am completely devoted to my companion. Chivalry is not dead. I open doors for ladies, pull their chair out for them, and always treat them with respect and reverence. When I give my heart to someone, it is completely and unconditionally. I don't believe in playing games (life is too short); what you see is what you get. I don't get angry, even if events warrant it. I have a good sense of humor. I have had many life experiences and have traveled often in my younger days. I love the outdoors, especially the ocean and the mountains. As a young man I had the goal of visiting all of the National parks, then life got in the way. I like fishing and practice catch & release. I like to read good books, watch descent TV shows, and watch a good movie, even “Chick Flicks”. I have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. However, I don’t live near any them.

The most exciting thing I've ever done was fly with the solo pilot during the 1978 Monterey, CA Thunderbird Air Show. The hardest thing I've ever done was tell my 3 teenage children their mother died in 1997.

I am looking for someone to share life with that I can fall in love with. There is a big difference in loving someone and being “in love” with someone. I love my children, grandchildren, and extended family members, but I am not in love with them. I want to be in love with my companion and cherish her with all of my heart. Someone that isn’t afraid to openly communicate with me, both the good and the bad. I’m looking for someone who isn’t afraid to receive and show affection. I want to share my life with someone who wants to continually grow and develop our relationship and love into an unbreakable bond. However, there must be chemistry on both sides for a relationship to be possible and develop.

Years ago, on the inside of an individual Dove Dark Chocolate candy wrapper the saying was printed, "When two hearts race, both win." Let's see if our hearts can cross the finish line together.

If given the choice I would live in a cottage
Favorite holiday: Christmas

A brave thing that I have done is
Stopped/tackeled a thief outside of a store. Brave? Stupid maybe.
