I'm a funny girl who loves cats, flowers, video games and books. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends whenever I can. Seeking adventure, new restaurants, movies and cultural events entice me. Being creatively bent, I really enjoy time with my grand daughter. We paint, cut, paste and craft every other week or so. It's amazing to watch her absorb and refine the skills I show her. She's a funny girl, like her grandma.
My daughter is married and they recently purchased their first home with some land. Their plan is to raise their own vegetables, chickens and maybe even some goats. Their home is a very welcoming place where we can sit around their bonfire making s'mores. I co-habitat with my son, the waiter. Sometimes, late at night, he might be in a talkative mood and those conversations are priceless. We have two resident fur-balls (cats). One large and the other noisy. I adore them both.
I was an inactive last year but now am striving to live the gospel in a deeper and more profound way than before. This time it is personal. I'm not doing it for the kids, for the looks of it or because someone told me to. I'm doing this for me. It's been good for me and it's true what they say about wanting more.
Finally, I've decide I don't want to be alone any longer. I'm ready to include someone wonderful in my life. Someone to have long talks with, hold hands while walking, take out to the lake fishing, or just stay home and veg. Life is too short to be lonely. Don't you agree? Let's be kids again . . together!
