Some people say I’m on the quiet side, however, that’s only for the first fifteen minutes or so! Once I know you, you’ll be surprised – That said, I do know when to be quiet. I have been called independent, but that also depends upon the circumstances. I would love for someone to be there to help me accomplish the little daily tasks and to just take charge on occasion. However, I love details...so, somebody who has the ability to look at the big picture combined with my talent for details would be a great thing. Just imagine what could be accomplished!! When it comes to going out...I can leave on a moments notice, that said, I can also handle planning things down to the last detail. I am a quick study (kind of, sort of, an understatement)…
So, what about that ever important sense of humor??? I love somebody with a great sense of humor, however, once in awhile you just might have to explain the joke to me! But then, I can laugh at myself for not catching on or for the other dorky things I sometimes do. I can be witty...so, if you are sensitive to quick come-backs... time to toughen up. Having grown up in a home with numerous siblings I can be quick with come-backs, aka self-preservation.
There are many things I enjoy doing including travel, which somehow can include getting lost and finding my way again. I am somewhat directionally challenged so if I think I should turn right, I really should turn left, yes, even with GPS because you see, I know the shortest way to get to where I’m going, even when I don’t. I look at it this way: I get to explore uncharted (for me) territory. So an example you say? Well, one time my directionally challenged side led me to take a 200 mile detour when I was driving from Denver to Minnesota. However, I got to see some beautiful country that I may never have seen. I was with my son (he’s 25) and we still laugh about it…there is always a silver lining!
Another thing I have to admit is my love for yard work, for some reason, I actually enjoy pulling weeds. What can I say? As for cooking skills...I can cook, even better yet, I can follow a recipe. That said, I tend to experiment a bit to make it my own which can be interesting! My favorite food? Fresh fruit, most definitely.
I’ve lived in a lot of different places and done many different things. I would love to find a kindred spirit to share my life and love of the gospel with. I love to explore, but I would really love to have a partner in crime’ to explore all the wonderful things life has to offer.
One of my favorite quotes: "Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
If you are interested in a lady who loves to have fun, AND you love the gospel and all life offers, drop me a message – I don’t respond to flirts.
